I am very fascinated by the endless variety of food in the world. It is by no accident that food is raised to the status of national pride. Every culture, race, group has a particular diet that says somthing unique about them. Every region in the world also has a specific climate, enviornment that allows for unique ingrediants.

Looking at the fried grasshoppers and chicken feet reminds me that cuisine is a matter of taste and culture. My Mexican heritage confirms this belief. There aren't many people who would like dishes such as tripe, cow's toungue, cesos (i.e., cattle brains)--mmm, lovely! Anyways, food for thought, I think that your blog has inspired me to try something new on the menu today. Maybe soemthing from India or Vietnam. MMM....
